Volunteer Opportunities
Below is a list of all the PTA volunteer opportunities.
If you are interested in learning more about the position or event, please contact the chairperson. If no chair person is listed, please email rossmoorpta@gmail.com for more information or to express interest in filling that position.
Welcome Back Photos
First Day of School
Take photos of students on the first day of school. You will be responsible for taking the photos, having them printed and returned to the teacher before the end of the school day.
Garden Clean-Up
First Friday of the each month
Meet us right after school on the first Friday of each month to help maintain the Rossmoor Gardens.
APEX Fun Run
Friday, October 6th
Volunteers will be asked to cheer on the students as they run the Fun Run Course and mark the laps on the students t-shirts. If interested please use link below.
Rossmoor Elementary Carnival
Friday, October 27th
This event is our biggest of the year and we need lots of volunteers to make it run smoothly. Volunteer opportunities include, set-up, working booths, selling tickets, helping with silent auction, and clean up.
Sign ups will be sent out in in October!
Red Ribbon Week
October 21-22
Volunteers will be asked to help tie red ribbons around trees and other areas of the school.
Book Fair
December 11-15th and February 26-29th
Volunteers are need to help students shop the book fair and cashier. Sign-ups will be sent out the week before the event.
Cookie & Cocoa Family Night
Wednesday, December 13th
Volunteers can help at the Book Fair or help with serving cookies and cocoa.
